Are You a Business Voyeur?

Many people are interested in business and hoping that one day they will start one.
They read books, magazines, blogs such as The Entrepreneur Club and watch TV programs that feature businesses.

We could describe these people as ‘business voyeurs’ always watching maybe learning but never practicing. If you yearn to start your own business by all means watch and learn for a while but don’t simply become a business voyeur.

If you are serious about starting your own business set yourself a time frame for when you will start. Within that time period learn what you need to learn, develop contacts with people that can help you and write your business plan. When you reach that start date – stop watching and start doing!

There is nothing wrong with taking time to consider your options!

However, there is no better feeling than when you finally make the leap and start being your own boss!

Absolutely right Phil as I think I indicated in this post. Use the time to plan but do set a time to start otherwise nothing will happen!

Surely with ebay provising a low cost entry to starting a business there is little excuse for trying a few ideas out.

Yep planning is everything and make sure you are being super critical on your plan and cover any and all gaps in it. And dont expect to succeed the first time. Trial and error is a big part of the development process.
