Jon Hilton of Pulse Rate Training says that lives can be saved by the early application of First Aid . What would you do if you saw someone collapse? What would you do if you were first on the scene of a serious accident? These are questions that we ought to know the answer to.
Each year many people get seriously injured at work and employers have a duty to make sure that if accidents do happen that there are ways treatment can be administered quickly. It may take 20 minutes for an ambulance to arrive and in that time a life could be lost or saved by applying first aid procedures.
Our Spotlight On is on Pulse Rate Training and the Director Jon Hilton. Jon has a wealth of experience from his military career. Jon is also a board member for The Association of First Aiders which shows his continued professional attitude towards First Aid.
From Bullets to Business
In recent times Jon has experienced many things that have given him a different perspective on life. Because of this Jon has set up “From Bullets to Business” which is a motivational inspirational speaker business and the profits will go equally between Help for Heroes and Cancer Research UK.
We asked Jon what From Bullets to Business is all about and he answered, “It’s about my evolution from a soldier to a businessman through many difficult situations. I will be telling people how I went from one of the securest jobs in industry to the most insecure job, being self employed. On my journey I went through so much adversity that people often say “how on earth have you come through that”. I am trying to get the message across that even through hard times we can still come out the other end being positive and successful.” Jon will be speaking about his experience at many events across the UK and possibly beyond.
